About US Team Chairs

Sam Posey of Sharon, Connecticut, is a remarkable man and a good friend to the Group at US Team Chair Company located in the old Klein Bicycle Factory in Chehalis, Washington. Sam was formally educated as an architect and self educated as an artist but is best known as an Indy Race Driving and ABC Television Commentator for his work in Indy Racing, the Winter Olympics and the Alaskan Iditarod Dogsled Sled race.

Since the Group at US Team Chairs is very keen on automobile racing of all forms since their early years, it is natural that they would meet Sam along the way. That meeting created a long and warm friendship and eventually created a marriage between Sam and the Group for the development and manufacturing of the Posey Chair by US Team Chairs.

The Posey Chair was designed by Sam to have a low silhouette similar to the body of an Indy race car and the firm but comfortable feeling of a racing seat. The Group at US Team Chairs made several modifications to the original design as it was much too narrow for general use and needed additional padding for longer term comfort. The Chair has a very unique design and is highly praised by all who see it. Future development of the Chair will include (a) corporate logo use, (b) point of sale use, (c) electronic game chairs, (d) a furniture line which will feature baby logos and colors, (e) sportsman camouflage chairs and (f) many other additional college and professional team logo applications.

We welcome your constructive comments and suggestions on the Chair and invite you to visit our factory in Chehalis, Washington. We are open to working with anyone who is promoting charity auctions and can use our chair. We reserve the sole and absolute discretion as to which charity requests we honor.
